Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are the same grape, but make stylistically different wines. Pinot Grigio is a dry, lighter, more refreshing and lively style of wine with green apple, delicate pear, and citrus aroma and flavours. While Pinot Gris is often a dry, gently perfumed, medium body, slightly rich and smooth wine and a typically somewhat deeper colour than most whites, it also has aromas and flavours of melon, pear and spice.
