Fogolar Wines 2018 Oppenlaender Vineyard Cabernet Franc


This single-vineyard Cabernet Franc showcases the unique terroir of the Oppenlander Vineyard, situated in Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Four Mile Creek sub-appellation. An elegant nose of cherry compote, toast, and a hint of elderflower. Smooth with fine tannins on the palate and a gentle, flavourful finish.

Winemaking Notes:

Fruit from the Oppenlaender vineyard was machine picked and optical sorted before being whole fermented berry for 28 days, then pressed. Aged in used French oak for 24 months before being filtered and bottled.
